Thou Shall Not "FLIP PUPPIES" Is Not a Commandment
Followed by Certain Circles in Blanchester, Ohio!
I decided to write this because of a personal experience I had recently. Two of my dogs decided to have an adorable litter of puppies together. This was not planned, and honestly, I did not think it was even possible for them to have puppies, but Mother Nature found a way. I do want to make it clear that I am a firm believer of having your dogs spayed or neutered. I was just a little late, in this situation. Everything happens for a reason.
My dogs had a litter of nine puppies. I knew I could not keep all of them, so I decided to find them new homes through Facebook and Craigslist. Craigslist warns of all of the frauds that people can face when using their site, and I took those warnings very seriously. I had many inquiries, for my puppies, and I turned a few people away because of those potential swindles. I am a huge dog lover, and it was important that my puppies went to good homes with people who would truly care for them.
After turning away some folks that I did not trust, I met some girls from Blanchester Ohio. They seemed very sweet, caring, and trustworthy. They were clearly religious, and seemed to project a deep love for animals. I will not mention how I knew of their religion, because that does not seem like the right thing to do. Anyway, one of the girls picked one of my female puppies, and she seemed very excited. I gave her information from my vet, free Frontline, and coupons. I felt good about the exchange.
A week or so later, I got a call from that same girl. She said her cousin saw my posting on Craigslist for the last puppy I had in the litter. I asked many questions about her cousin, and it seemed like she was a reliable and caring person. Her cousin wanted a new puppy for her young son. She wanted her son to grow up with a puppy. I believed her, but I would later find out how wrong I was.
